“…forever grateful for their initiative, time, and the practical and emotional support…”
Sarah (name changed) and her partner contacted Reading Lifeline following the loss of their first baby. Initially, they attended counselling together, but after Sarah fell pregnant again they joined one of our specialist support groups.
“Reading Lifeline have been a fantastic support not only in our grief but also in navigating the incredibly difficult journey that is pregnancy after loss. The support group has tackled a huge missing area in support available through traditional needs. Without this we would have not felt able to gain the assistance and knowledge that we needed, and with it we felt able to explore and prepare for the challenges antenatally and postnatally as we face our rainbow pregnancy. The service and the team themselves go above and beyond and have individually taken an active role in looking at ways to improve services available to those locally who have been affected by Baby Loss. I will be forever grateful for their initiative and time, and the practical and emotional support that they have given us. They are exceptional people.”
