“Everything was private and confidential which made me feel at ease…”
Nadine’s (name changed) son was recently stillborn, and the Bereavement Specialist Midwives at the local hospital referred her to Reading Lifeline after offering initial support following her loss. Nadine had weekly appointments with one of our volunteer counsellors for specialist baby loss counselling.
“The counsellor was comforting, engaging and caring when I discussed things with her. I was able to discuss different aspects of my life and how these were impacted by the loss of my baby.”
“Every part of the service offered by Reading Lifeline was great. It was easy to contact staff, the venue is discreet, which I liked, as the general public didn’t know you were going in for counselling, which I liked. Everything was private and confidential which made me feel at ease.”
