Reading Lifeline is run by trained counsellors accredited by ACC for Care Confidential.
An unwanted pregnancy may be a hard thing to face. You may feel confused and frightened. You may not know who to confide in or where to turn for help. Maybe you are faced with choices that have no easy answers.
At Reading Lifeline we offer a safe place with someone to listen, someone to care. We can help you look at your options before you make any decisions.
If you find it difficult to cope following an abortion, we offer a free confidential post abortion counselling service.
If you have suffered a miscarriage or stillbirth we can offer free confidential grief counselling.
We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are well–resourced to provide both immediate and long–term support as necessary, directing to other agencies as appropriate.
